Background

The Seed Heritage – Sierra Leone (TSH-SL) is a not-for-profit organization run completely by volunteers. We receive NO government assistance and rely completely on the generosity of individuals or other organizations to survive.

We’ve been supporting the needy and less privileged in Sierra Leone to access quality education, good healthcare, food and security. By so doing, we have changed the lives of many individuals and families positively.

In 2021, TSH-SL supported a school that had been out of operation for four years due to lack of resources in the Hastings community near Freetown and in June 2024, we provided the school with learning materials such as desks and chairs, books, sports activities and sanitary equipment, electricity supply, etc.

We also support students whose parents are finding it difficult to meet school needs such as fees, books and uniforms to enable the children to stay in school.

Helping families in crisis is how we give back to the community to make the world a better place for everyone. The motto: ‘GeeBak’, means ‘Give Back’ in Krio, a local dialect used in the city of Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone.
